Corvallis Trip

The week before Easter, Wendy-Lynne, Ashley and I hopped into Wendy's car, took the 8 a.m. ferry from Tsawwassen over to the mainland, crossed the border at the Peace Arch, and got onto the I-5 as quickly as possible. It was about 11 a.m. when we crossed. We were horrified yet amazed at the traffic on that highway and it was incredibly nerve-wracking for Wendy to drive all day on that highway. We arrived in Corvallis safely however, just after 6 p.m., where we were welcomed with open arms by the Southall family. A wonderful two day visit ensued!
